www.marksephton.com Mark shares about " How to increase your influence through the art of honouring people"
The Queen herself each year takes time to honour people who have accomplished something. We know it as the "honours list" often for faithful service and commitment towards a duty. OBE, CBE and knighthoods are recognised achievements of honour.
In the UK government a term that is used is " The right honourable " it speaks of class and respect.
The game " Medal of honour " is rewarding brave soldiers who protect and fight for their country.
We have lost the art of honouring as a nation. We must step up to the plate and be creative in our gratitude and thanks towards those who extend kudos to ourselves.
The dictionary defines the word honour as high respect ; great esteem. One of distinction, privilege, glory, tribute, kudos, prestige, fame, renown, merit, credit and importance.
